The morning tea for the students at work yesterday went really well. The kids had an absolute ball! I was running around like a headless chicken during the morning, everytime I did something and returned to where I was supposed to be, I was sent somewhere else and had the cycle repeat several times. But we got it all sorted in the end.

Myself and a few of the students went out on the school oval and threw boomerangs with a couple of the elders. One of the Elders brought a heap of Aboriginal artefacts with him and was showing anyone and everyone who would stand still long enough to listen. He was cracking jokes, and embarrassing all the kids to no end, but everyone had a really good time.

The artwork looked amazing when it was finished, if I can get a photo of it I will post it.

So what's happened in the last couple of weeks since I posted about this??? Lets see...

I finished my training course last week and got a nice certificate. Was very naughty the last two weeks of my course and didn't have my nap before I left home; but there was no falling asleep at the wheel or veering into the other lane of traffic.

The shit has absolutely hit the fan at work in the last week or so. The Inidgenous Community Advisor resigned last week, but the Education department and the local Aboriginal Elders won't accept her resignation! She typed up a big in depth email about what's been going on in the school and how we're both treated like second class citizens because we work with the Aboriginal kids, the workplace bullying, how we have no fucking idea what the hell is going on in the school because the hierachy won't tell us anything.

im at work with no computer as usual and im workin on 1 of my xmas fics. Does anyone know anything about how lunar eclipses work? Is it just the earth and the moon that align or the earth, moon & sun?

Would one of my lovely flisters beta a dark!fic for me? It's not very long probably under 1K.
As usual I wrote it at work yesterday. I have it half typed up and should have the rest done tonight when I get home from work.

I had the longest work day today that I have had in over 3 years. It was a pleasant day thankfully, no more nasty comments from people. But at least I have someone on my side now. I mentioned what happened to the Community Advisor today while she was at the school and she gave me a huge compliment. Saying I dress better than she does!! Thanks to everyone for making me feel better last week I really appreciated it.

Anyway that's not what the title of the post refers to. It refers to me being an utterly idotic fucktard and not pulling over when I can hardly keep my eyes open when I was driving this afternoon! If you saw my post the other week when I was going to be offline for the night and looking for rec's because I had a sleep study in hospital. Well then you will know I have Chronic Obstructive Sleep Aponea. If you don't know what that is basically I stop breathing for periods of time when I'm asleep. When my brain gets low on oxygen it tells my body to wake up and I don't get a restful nights sleep.

I need the answer to a really dumb question from my british flisters.

Do you say goosebumps? gooseflesh? goosepimples? with or without spaces in the middle is fine.

I have just had the most shittiest couple of weeks at work, and I am seriously considering not even bothering to try and have my contract renewed next year. Most of you know I work in a high school. Last week when one of the deputy principal's decided to give me a computer that worked, but turns out it doesn't. Chucked the biggest fucking hissy fit because I had students in my office working on assignments and stuff like they are supposed to do. But it turned out they hadn't asked their teachers if they could be there.

I want to know how everyone would feel about participating in a trivia quiz in the days prior to the first entries being posted?

I've been tossing the idea around in my head for a while and I thought it would be something fun for people to participate in.
So my question is. Do you want a trivia quiz? If so what kind. Just Harry Potter trivia or trivia in general?

examples:
What did Hermione use in her hair when she went to the Yule Ball in GOF?
What is the only word in the English language that has three consecutive double letters?
Name Molly Weasley's brothers?
What year was the first testicular guard used in cricket and what year was the first helmet used?

I'm not 100% sure how I'm going to go about posting it yet, whether its a poll or just put your answer in screened comments.
